![]() ![]() This game's track seletion is by FAR the best in the series. Sure it has a lot of flaws, such as the strange character roster with characters like Honey Queen replacing slots of fan favorites like Waluigi, lack of a single-player VS mode, and the poor selection of battle stages, but that is demolished by one thing: the track selection. Sure it was on the 3DS so it wasn't as powerful as some of it's console predecessors. Sure it doesn't have as interesting of gimmicks as Double Dash!! or Wii, or as great of visuals as 8/8 Deluxe. Even though I have the nostalgia factor for Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, DS, and Wii, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe looks a lot better, this game is actually my favorite game in the entire series. This game is PHENOMONAL! I've always been a huge fan of the Mario Kart series. Which Side of History? But at least he's in character, being suitably world weary. This is further disadvantaged by the dynamic not being there, Lewis has more to do in the second half but still feels more like a supporting character here. Chemistry between Lewis and Hathaway, as has been said already, has had much more spark, unfortunately it's pretty much bland at best and barely existent at worst. Not bad by all means but it just isn't the same as back to when 'Lewis' was at its best in the early seasons. It was great to see him back, but as seen with both the first and second halves he deserved a better episode. "Entry Wounds" signals the return of Lewis, with him coming out of retirement assisting a now promoted Hathaway. "Intelligent Design" however was much better and easily the best of that season. In all three of the Season 7 episodes, this has proved to be rather awkward and in "Down Among the Fearful" and "The Ramblin' Boy" ran the risk of forgetting what happened previously and being even more confused by events and who the characters were. The show's seventh season has suffered from the rather bizarre decision to split its three episodes into two halves, meaning having to wait until the next week until the conclusion. On the other side of the coin, fortunately the season gets back on track with a great finale and its best episode "The Indelible Stain". Unfortunately, "Fearful Symmetry" was very disappointing and has always been one of my least favourite 'Lewis' episodes. Season 6 started off very well with "The Soul of Genius", while "Generation of Vipers" was even better. Season 4 generally was one of the better seasons of 'Lewis', with all the episodes very good to great, and Season 5 was solid with the only disappointment being "The Mind Has Mountains". Season 3 was more of a mixed bag (not a bad season at all, but started a little disappointingly, though better than reputed, with one of the show's generally lesser episodes "Allegory of Love"). 'Lewis' was a show that started off promisingly with the pilot and the first season, while getting even better with a more settled Season 2 where the show hit its stride. ![]() The good news is, like the prequel series 'Endeavour', 'Lewis' is every bit as good as 'Inspector Morse' and stands very well on its own two feet as a detective mystery and show in general. Hearing about 'Lewis' for the first time when it first started, there was a big touch of excitement seeing as 'Inspector Morse' was and still is one of my favourites but also a little intrepidation, wondering whether the series would be as good. ![]() ![]() No more getting tangled up when I grab the handle. They're comfy, easy to put in, and I loooooooove not having the wire tethering me to the phone in my pocket when I'm trying to mow. When I have the noise cancellation on, I CAN'T HEAR THE MOWER. I typically use them when I'm mowing the lawn and listen to podcasts. I've had zero issues with them cutting out. They were already hooked up to my phone - I didn't have to do anything (major plus for a non-techie like me). I love how I can open the case next to my iPhone and a picture pops up telling me about battery life. Finally just buckled down and got these and LOVE THEM. Promising review: "Debated on spending the money for these. The TL DR is I love these so much I have zero interest in owning another pair of headphones for as long as I live. It's also handy that these toggle out of noise cancellation mode, because I feel better being able to hear traffic and other people around me when I'm out and about. I'm also a runner, and these don't budge when you're sweating, which is nice. It's quieter than if I'd just plugged my ears with my own fingers. I've been working from home, and the noise-cancelling is so effective that I can work next to a window where my neighbor is doing heavy construction and I don't hear anything louder than a faint buzzing. Once they're securely in your ear, you can toggle the headphones between noise-cancelling and regular sound, depending on your situation. I have a pair of these, and they're not playing around. Get it from Amazon for $30.27 (available in eight colors). Every little act of sustainability helps, and the Rocketbook's reusability makes it a much more impactful buy. I also didn't have to buy the binders and dividers that go along with my old organizational style. ![]() Just use the included towel and a little water and it looks brand new! And now for the best part – environmental consciousness! This book has already saved me from going through REAMS of paper in the month that I've been using it. Wiping the pages clean after I'm done uploading is also very easy, and gives me a chance for one last review of my notes. And if you do smudge it's okay, because you can quickly erase and rewrite any mistakes. The Frixion pens are also wonderful to write with – just make sure you give them the 10-15 seconds to dry before flipping the page to avoid smudges. But it also lets you search by key terms to find notes about specific topics! The clearer your handwriting is, the better, but I don't have the most neat writing myself and I have no issue using the search function. The app allows you to pick the destinations for your scans when uploading your notes or figures. Promising review: "I love my Rocketbook! I'm a college student who readily takes 8-12 pages of notes in each of my six classes, and this book is just what I needed to stop carrying around several 2-inch binders loaded with paper! The book is sturdy and stands up well to being crammed in a backpack with textbooks and lab gear, with a hard cover and sturdy spiral design. This notebook includes lined and grid pages in addition to planner, calendar, and brainstorming pages, so it pretty much covers any of their needs. Shipping: Available on Amazon Prime with two-day shipping, non-Prime shipping options will still arrive by Christmas (see Amazon's full shipping information here). Very happy with this purchase! Would recommend." - Tara The sunrise feature slowly wakes me up, and the nature sounds for the alarm are soothing and pleasant instead of the usual jarring blare of an alarm clock. ![]() ![]() It has completely changed the way I sleep and wake up and begin the day. ![]() I then set the sunrise feature to begin 30 minutes before wake up, and set the alarm to the bird chirping/nature sounds. I can completely dim the clock’s light while I sleep, so I’m not bothered by the illuminated clock at night. I love it! Firstly, I’m glad I didn’t pay for the expensive version, because this is exactly what I wanted. I was hesitant to buy another alarm clock, but wanted to give the sunrise feature a try. Promising review: "I haven’t had an alarm clock in my bedroom for over four years, because I can’t stand how bright the lights are. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New!!: The Matrix: Path of Neo and List of minor characters in the Matrix series This is a list of minor characters from ''The Matrix'' franchise universe.
